Cafe & Catering
Legend has it that King Louis VX of France returned late one night to his hunting lodge and all that was on hand was onions, butter and champagne. He mixed them together, cooked it, and had the first French Onion Soup. Costeaux's is made with dry sherry instead but is highly acclaimed as one of our signature dishes. Try it!

Worthy of consideration is the Costeaux French Dip of thinly sliced house roasted rib eye with caramelized onions and Roquefort aioli on our classic sourdough roll, the Costeaux Salad of baby greens, caramelized walnuts, grapes, apples and Roquefort with Dijon vinaigrette, or our beloved Costeaux Quiche. Our Panino grilled chicken or Portobello mushroom with roasted red bell pepper, red onion, baby arugula, and Gruyère cheese with a lemon-rosemary aioli on our sensational Focaccia bread is a definite winner. Our Multigrain Turkey Sandwich is a classic combination of turkey breast, French brie, cranberry and baby greens with an avocado aioli served with our Best of Show Multigrain bread. One of the best-kept local secrets is our Parisian Sandwich, a sweet baguette filled with ham and cheese. If you feel like a grab and go quick meal on the road or at the office, pick up some brie, paté or other savory items to complement our phenomenal breads - always a great choice, especially for take-along.

"OK, first off, I've been coming to this place for a long time. It's off the chain, especially with the remodel. Very good place to meet friends or socialize. I recommend the French Dip, a glass of Sport Tea (iced tea with a hint of ginseng), a coffee, and a Princess Cake slice to finish. You won't be disappointed. Bomb dig."
