Plan to spend about forty-five minutes for your wedding cake consultation. One of the most popular features of the consultation is the chance to taste our most popular wedding cakes!
You’ll meet with our Pastry Chef to discuss types of cake, fillings, frostings and finishing touches. We will show you examples of wedding cakes we have created, talk with you about adding fresh flowers to your cake through your florist, and acquaint you with wedding cake designs. During your Wedding Cake Consultation, you may also explore adding a groom’s cake or individual desserts, booking a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch, and other related wedding services.
Your total cake cost depends upon the type of cake, filling, frosting and finish you choose which are determined during your consultation. We recommend budgeting $6 - 10 per person. A non-refundable $100 deposit secures your cake order. The deposit is due at the time of booking, which often occurs during the consultation. The payment of your balance is due ten days prior to your wedding date, along with confirmation of number of guests attending.
We deliver your cake to the wedding reception site and work with your florist, venue event manager, or wedding coordinator, as requested. There is a nominal fee for delivery of your wedding cake depending upon the distance from our retail store in Healdsburg and orders must be finalized at least two weeks in advance. Costeaux French Bakery has a long history of wedding cake fulfillment in northern California and Sonoma County's Wine Country. We are the premier purveyor of wedding cakes in the area.
